Previous to joining HCBA, Lesley established and managed UK and overseas technology and innovation centres for startups and SMEs. In 2008 she founded LAR Consultancy, helping clients to grow in the UK and internationally. Client products include a fintech payments app, a number of medical devices, LED lighting fixtures & controls, a retail toy, decision-pathways & AI software and a number of medical apps. MediSpera Ltd was established in 2015 and in 2016 she became a Co-Founder of Scertified Inc. She is a judge for the UK MassChallenge programme and mentors companies via the Essex Innovation Programme run by Essex County Council.
